- 1982Co-founds the Arcadia Chinese Association with Dr. Sheng Chang.
- 1982Founds the Arcadia Chinese School, and becomes its principal for the next thirty years.
- 1980sPersuades the school district to approve I-20 forms, letting students remain in the United States to continue their studies.
- 1986President of the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools, a post she holds for two years.
- 1987With the Arcadia Chinese Association, organizes a two-day Chinese cultural festival at the Los Angeles County Arboretum.
- 1988Receives the Arcadia Unified School District's Golden Apple Award.
- 1988With the Arcadia Chinese Association, organizes a two-day Chinese cultural festival at the Huntington Library and Gardens.
- 1989Installed as President of the Chinese American Parents and Teachers Association of Southern California.
- 1994Founds the Arcadia chapter of Buddha's Light International Association, inaugurated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun.
- 2001Appointed a public member of the California Acupuncture Board by the Speaker of the State Assembly.
- 2016–17President of the Shih Chien University Alumni Association of Southern California; later President for North America.
